Type of Facility
It is important to understand that a Power Blendz unit is not a junk food snack bar. Power Blendz was designed specifically by and for the health and fitness conscience customer. The POWER BLENDZ turn key business package is designed to be a first class cost effective amenity to an existing host facility. What facilities work? Gyms, fitness centers, hospitals, food courts, colleges, coffee shops, and malls. Power Blendz is also a home run for a number of special events.
Space
In order to have a smooth flowing operation we recommend a minimum of 65 square feet of operational space in addition to a 30 square foot storage room. Smaller spaces have been made to work with some creativity and use of vertical space. It is also important to allow for a couple of tables and chairs or a small sitting area. You want to invite customers to relax and hang out, thus creating a ‘buzz’ and making the POWER BLENDZ juice bar the gathering place for healthy bodies.
Location
Location, location, location. Designating an area that provides high visibility and easy access will maximize your efforts to provide quality service and make a profit. The POWER BLENDZ team will assist members in the research, business planning, profit projection, and unit design. The best location is always near the front door of your facility, provided its the main entry and exit. Know that a properly positioned POWER BLENDZ unit will entice new customers at least twice a day and make a lasting first impression on all new visitors.
Traffic Count
Your facility’s daily traffic count is your customer potential. A successfully managed POWER BLENDZ unit will generate up to $1.05 gross sales per patron per day. How do you maximize patronage from the daily traffic?
The 3 BIG components governing your gross sales are:
(1) PRODUCT QUALITY & CONSISTENCY
(2) THE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE AT POINT OF SALE
(3) MARKETING

Profit
As introduced in the previous paragraph your gross sales depend upon your facility’s daily traffic count and your ability to implement the BIG 3 in order to get maximum juice bar patronage from that traffic. For example, if your facility daily traffic count is between 500 – 700 people, you can expect up to $500 and $700 daily gross sales. But what about the profit? All POWER BLENDZ shakes and smoothies have a Cost of Goods Sold of 25% - 37%.
